We know lots of people are worried about Covid 19 (aka the Coronavirus). Amaze is taking all the necessary precautions to keep our staff and volunteers and the families we work with safe and we’re adapting as things change. The Compass Team at Amaze is working from home now and we are still processing Compass Registration Forms and sending out cards to families in Brighton & Hove and West Sussex. There will be an end to lock-down, so please keep those Compass Registration Forms coming!
We’re keeping in touch with Compass Card families via our fortnightly e-newsletters, Compass News B&H and Compass News WSx (next edition 16 April) and through our Facebook page. Please do like or follow us so we can keep you in the loop.
We’re also supporting families in lock-down with lots of ideas and information on making the best of the current situation. You can read our ‘Leisure, Learning and Lock-down’ guide for families here. It’s updated regularly, so do keep checking to see what we’ve added. Many of our Compass Card Partners are temporarily closed and shows and events are cancelled for the forseeable future, but many partners are coming up with imaginative online activities and we’ll keep you up to date about these too.
Amaze has also put together useful FAQs for families with 0 to 25s with disabilities or special educational needs:

East Sussex FAQs
In West Sussex, the West Sussex Parent Carer Forum and Reaching Families joined forces to provide info about SEND-related services here.
