There are some Short Breaks fun sessions for kids with additional needs or disabilities over the February half-term holidays at Compass Card venue, Worthing Leisure Centre. First, there’s a family fun club for children with SEND aged 7 to 15 and their families on Thursday 20 and Friday 21 February from 10am to 3pm. There’ll be opportunities to get creative and sporty on the day, including tennis and pottery.
Next up, there are stay and play sessions for children with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) aged 5 to 18. On Tuesday 18th there’s a magic workshop from 9.45am to 12.45pm and a music workshop on Thursday 20 February from 1 to 4pm. Both include a chance to take part in arts and crafts and cost £8.25 per child.
For both the family fun club and the stay and play sessions, children need to show a Compass Card, be in receipt of the middle or higher rate of DLA or PIP or be able to show that an EHCP or DLA/PIP claim is in process and awaiting an outcome.
