Enhancing Different Groups Education (EDGE) is a new initiative run by local Zak Salvage, which runs fun sessions every Friday for adults with disabilities. Inspired by Zak’s sister Emily, who has Downs Syndrome, the themed sessions aim to provide a space for adults with disabilities to explore their creativity and take something home at the end of it. EDGE hosts weekly Friday sessions with a different theme each week. The upcoming themes are: ‘Movie Night’ on Friday 8 February, ‘Heart Night’ on Friday 15 February and ‘Margharita and Mocktail Night’ on Friday 22 February. The sessions take place at Old Boat Corner Community Centre, Hollingbury BN1 8GN and costs £7.50 per person with an accompanying carer going free. If you’d like to attend, contact Zak from EDGE in advance on 07852725258 or by email here. Find out more about EDGE here.
