Young people aged 13 to 24 with an interest in arts or textiles may enjoy taking part in inclusive digital art and textile workshops with Royal Pavilion & Museums over the Easter holidays. The participants will have the opportunity to learn new creative skills in a fun and supportive environment, alongside having the chance to meet staff and explore museum objects.
On Thursday 11 April at Hove Museum & Art Gallery there’s a ‘Digital Making Workshop’ from 10.30am to 4pm, where participants can try their hand at textile printing, photography and using 3D pens.
On Friday 12 April at Brighton Museum & Art Gallery there’s a ‘Textile Collage’ workshop from 11am to 3.30pm led by Amaze staff member and artist, Eliph Hadert. Looking at the natural world and shapes, you’ll have the chance to stitch your own design onto a tote bag. Both sessions are free and spaces can be booked by contacting Sarah Pain on 07833 483245 or by email here.
