Capitol in Horsham offers free tickets to all ‘Blue Oasis’ screenings throughout July
The Capitol in Horsham has three ‘Blue Oasis’ screenings every month for people with Autism or special needs and throughout July they will be giving Compass Card holders two free tickets to any of the screenings and here are the movies on offer!
Spider-Man: Far From Home (12A), 10.15am Saturday 13 July. Starring Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jake Gyllenhaal and Samuel L. Jackson ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ follows the events of ‘Avengers: Endgame’, Spider-Man must step up to take on new threats in a world that has changed forever.
Horrible Histories: The Movie – Rotten Romans (PG), 10.15am, Friday 26 July. What have the Romans ever done for us? And why is Emperor Nero dousing himself in horse wee? Questions that will be answered in this fun, family movie.
The Lion King (PG), 11am Saturday 27 July. After the murder of his father, a young lion prince flees his kingdom only to learn the true meaning of responsibility and bravery. The whole family is bound to love the 2019 remake of the original movie.
You need to book in person at the Box Office showing the Compass Card, or over the ‘phone on 01403 750220 using the promo code we give you in Compass News. If you book over the ‘phone, make sure you take your Compass Card with you when you collect your tickets to validate the free offer. The Box Office opens at 9.45am (except Sundays when it opens 30 minutes before the first film) and closes at 8pm. Phone lines close at 7pm. Take a friend to Sussex Prairie Garden near Henfield for free Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 July
Compass Card holders already get a free carer ticket, but you can take a friend for free too over the weekend of Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 July. This lovely eight-acre garden with its mighty plants is holding its ‘Handmade at Sussex Prairie’s Craft Fair’ over the weekend, so it’s a great opportunity to have a browse around the craft stalls too. High Sports at Withdean Sports Complex
High Sports at Withdean Sports Complex is running a mix of taster and wheelchair climbing sessions at a special rate for Compass Card holders: a one hour wheelchair climbing session for £10 and a taster session for non-wheelchair users, or those who need physical assistance, for £5. To claim either of these special offers you have to book during Disability Pride week, so between Monday 8 and Sunday 14 July. Just email Henning Muller at this address. and mention that you are a Compass Card holder. You’ll also need to show the Compass Card on the day to validate the discount.
