What?
Open every day except Wednesdays, from 1 April to 31 October, High Beeches is a botanical treasure trove boasting 27 acres of woodland, water gardens and a collection of rare, exotic and award-winning plants. There is an on-site tea room and, although picnics cannot be taken into the gardens, you are able to enjoy them at the table and benches at the garden entrance.
General provision: Free entry for one carer accompanying a person with special educational needs or disabilities.
Compass Card offer: The Compass Card triggers the general provision above.
Accessibility: Accessible parking and toilet. High Beeches is a woodland garden and therefore the paths throughout are unmade and uneven. They are also sloping in places and can be slippery when wet, which can be difficult for wheelchair users.
