Scott Cinema East Grinstead has three screens showing the latest mainstream and 3D releases, plus screenings of live performances including ballet and theatre. On Saturday mornings, Kids Krew shows some of the latest kids films and there are Autism-friendly ‘Supportive Screenings’ every second Sunday of the month (carer goes free). There’s a licensed bar and seating area, hot and cold drinks, popcorn and ice cream.
Compass Card offer: Free entry for one carer accompanying Compass Card holder to all screenings, including Kids Krew (carers go free as standard at Supportive Screenings).
Accessibility: The cinema is accessible (via staff operated platform lift in main foyer that provides access to lifts up to the cinema, or via Weatherspoon’s next door) and has accessible toilets. Wheelchair users are advised to book in advance and arrive early. For help on arrival, call number above or or 01342 321 216. Hearing induction loops and regular subtitled shows. At Autism-friendly ‘Supportive Screenings’, lights and sound are turned down, people are free to move around, there are no adverts or trailers and film starts promptly at time advertised. Payments need to be made in person to benefit from the Compass Card offer, but you can reserve seats in advance by ‘phone. Show the card when you pay or mention the card when calling to reserve seats, then show the card on arrival to validate the discount
