Here at Amaze, we run a National Lottery-funded project for young people in Brighton and Hove called Amazing Futures. To celebrate Disability Pride at Hove Lawns on Saturday 14 July 2018, we asked some of the young people from Amazing Futures to tell us what they are most proud of. They told us through the pictures, quotes and video clips you can see below.

“I am proud of myself because I have made board games and I have spent my time thinking about questions and making cards for them. I have looked at different websites and books to get some ideas for my board games. I have made board games about music, Halloween and driving tests.” – Kiana

“I have additional needs and I am proud of myself because peer support I achieved and I am proud with that.” – Jamillah

Harrison

“I have additional needs and I am proud of myself because I got a job which is a bit of volunteers work at Sold in Shoreham and I’m really enjoying it because I made some new friends there.”

Amber

Amber is particularly proud of her Duke of Edinburgh gold award and drew a picture of it here.
