What?
Tilgate Nature Centre is home to over 500 animals, from owls to otters, meerkats to mongooses, the world’s largest rodent the capybara and the Brazilian Tapir Alf. The centre has a mission to provide an affordable day out that educates and inspires visitors and has great animal welfare at its heart. It’s open from 10am until 6pm (with last entry at 5pm) during the summer and then from 10am until 4pm (with last entry at 3pm) during the winter.
Compass Card offer: One carer admitted free of charge. Please note, if you live in Crawley and make your booking while logged in to your ‘myCrawley’ account, you will automatically get a discount on your booking.
Accessibility: Free accessible Blue Badge parking and accessible building. There is a hoist-assisted changing facility (Space to Change) located within the nature centre.
